I'm Andy Lomas, a photographer living in Wiltshire in the UK.  Since my grandfather gave me his old Nikon F401 and I attempted taking photographs of aeroplanes in the sky with a 50mm lens with the inevitable results, I've been at my happiest with a camera in my hand.  

I love the connection the camera gives to your subject and the memories that stay long after the moment has passed.  For me, a great photograph is one that causes you to pause, imagine what was happening at that moment in time, and makes you want to come back exploring it further time and time again.
